[31.54 Manger du pain, dans la langue des Hébreux, signifie simplement prendre de la nourriture, faire un repas. Comparer à Genèse, 3, 19.]

Genèse 31:54 - Et Jacob sacrifia un sacrifice sur la montagne et invita ses frères à manger le pain ; et ils mangèrent le pain, et passèrent la nuit sur la montagne.

Genèse 31:54 - and Jacob offered a sacrifice in the hill country and called his kinsmen to eat bread. They ate bread and spent the night in the hill country.

Genèse 31. 54 - He offered a sacrifice there in the hill country and invited his relatives to a meal. After they had eaten, they spent the night there.
